Journey Work is a soul-level initiation.
A heart-centered, evidence-informed, and relational process of preparation, psychedelic ceremony, and integration. Some arrive here after years of inner work, understanding their patterns clearly yet still feeling them held in the body. Others arrive through a quieter call, a curiosity, a readiness, a deep inner knowing that it is time to go further.
This is not simply a peak experience.
Journey Work is a process of remembering.
Some people arrive at this work because they have tried everything else. Others arrive from a place of deep curiosity and personal sovereignty, a quiet but certain sense that they have one life and they intend to meet it fully.
Both are welcome here.
For those who have been on the path for a while, the journey to this moment may have included years of therapy, meditation, breathwork, somatic practice, or spiritual inquiry. Real work. Meaningful work. Work that has brought genuine insight and self-awareness.
And yet something remains.
Not a failure of the work that came before, but the quiet recognition that certain things cannot be reached from the surface. Some patterns are held so deeply in the body and nervous system that no amount of understanding alone can touch them.
There is a particular kind of exhaustion that comes from knowing yourself well and still feeling the same contraction. The same fear. The same pull toward old ways of being that no longer serve you.
For others, the arrival looks different.
There is no wall. No exhaustion. No sense of having tried everything. There is simply a call. A curiosity that keeps returning. A sense that there are dimensions of yourself, of consciousness, of what it means to be fully alive that you have not yet explored.
Both paths lead here. To the same threshold. To the same willingness to go deeper than the mind alone can take you.
This is the work that lives on the other side of understanding. Where insight becomes embodied. Where what has been held in the body finally has permission to move.
It is not for everyone. It asks something real of you: preparation, presence, courage, and a willingness to meet whatever arises without turning away.
But for those who feel the call, whether it comes from exhaustion or from curiosity, from having tried everything or from simply knowing it is time, this container was built for you.
This is the work of remembering.
Where Understanding Reaches Its Edge
There is a particular kind of courage in the work of self-understanding. Therapy, meditation, somatic practice, spiritual inquiry. These are not small things. They require honesty, persistence, and a genuine willingness to look at what is difficult.
If you have walked that path, that work was real. It mattered. It brought you here.
And yet there are places the thinking mind cannot reach.
Not because the work was insufficient, but because some patterns do not live in the realm of understanding at all. They live in the body. In the nervous system. In the places beneath language and memory where the imprint of old experience was laid down long before it could be named or explained.
Insight can illuminate these places. But illumination is not the same as release.
This is where direct experience becomes necessary. Not as a replacement for the work that came before, but as a doorway into a different order of change. One that bypasses the interpreting mind and speaks directly to the part of you that has been holding on. The part that knows something needs to move but has not yet found the conditions safe enough to let it.
Psychedelic medicine, when held within a carefully prepared ceremonial container, can help create those conditions.
Not by forcing anything open, but by gently softening the structures that have kept certain experiences protected, hidden, or still.
This is not about doing more.
It is about going deeper than the mind alone can take you.
What is Journey Work?
Journey Work is a private, intentionally guided process for those who feel called to explore the deeper dimensions of consciousness and inner life. Together we venture into the expansive, sometimes ineffable terrain that lies beneath the surface of ordinary awareness, held within a container of safety, preparation, and care.
It unfolds over time through preparation, ceremonial experience, and integration. Each phase is designed to support safety, presence, and the conditions necessary for meaningful change to occur.Psychedelic medicine does not create healing on its own. What allows meaningful change to occur is the container surrounding the experience: thoughtful preparation, a safe and attuned ceremonial environment, and integration that helps translate insight into lived life.
This approach draws from both modern psychedelic research and ceremonial traditions that understand these experiences as part of a larger arc of transformation rather than a single event.
At the center of this work is a simple belief: you are your own inner healer. The role of the guide is not to direct your experience or interpret what arises, but to hold a steady and attentive presence so that your own inner intelligence can lead the process.
Each journey is unique. The medicine, the intention, and the timing are considered together and shaped around the individual. Different medicines carry different qualities and may serve different intentions, and part of this work is discerning what is most supportive for each person and moment.
This work is not about chasing a peak experience. It is about creating the conditions where something held beneath the surface can safely emerge, move, and complete.
The medicine may open the doorway. What unfolds before, during, and in the months that follow is where the deeper transformation lives.
The Four Phases of Journey Work
Modern psychedelic research consistently shows that preparation, set and setting, and post-journey integration are as important as the medicine itself. For this reason, every journey moves through four intentional phases designed to support safety, depth, and meaningful transformation.
Alignment & Readiness
The process begins with a discovery call. This is our first opportunity to connect, explore what is bringing you to this work, and assess whether the process feels aligned.
We discuss your intentions, review any safety considerations, and begin to sense what timing, preparation, and support may be most appropriate for your journey.
Intake & Preparation
Preparation is where the journey truly begins.
Through a comprehensive intake process and private preparation sessions, we explore your personal history, clarify your intentions, and prepare your mindset and nervous system for the experience ahead.
This phase includes education about the medicine, nervous system preparation, and the beginning of relational attunement between you and your guide.
In the days leading up to the ceremony, a period of intentional preparation, sometimes called a dieta, may help the body and mind become more receptive and grounded.
Preparation is not a formality. It is the beginning of integration.
Additional sessions may be recommended depending on your needs and readiness.
Ceremonial Administration
The ceremonial session typically unfolds over four to six hours in a carefully prepared environment designed to support inward exploration.
Facilitation is non-directive and trauma-informed, drawing from both modern psychedelic research frameworks and ceremonial traditions.
Research consistently shows that mindset and environment are as critical as the medicine itself. You are supported with eyeshades, music, and a carefully tended space that allows the experience to unfold safely.
Moments of insight, emotion, and expanded awareness may arise during the journey. But the deepest medicine often appears in what becomes possible afterward, when insight begins to translate into lived change.
Integration
After the ceremony, we meet for integration sessions to help you metabolize the experience, clarify meaning, and begin weaving what emerged into daily life.
Neuroscience shows that psychedelic medicines create a temporary window of enhanced neuroplasticity that can last for weeks following the experience. Integration is the practice of working within that window, anchoring insights into embodied change through reflection, somatic awareness, and aligned action.
Integration is not about tying things up neatly. It is about learning how to stay in relationship with what was revealed.
Additional sessions are available whenever deeper support is needed. This is relational work, not a rushed protocol. You are not navigating this process alone
Every step of this journey is designed to hold you with care, presence, and deep respect. From the first conversation through integration, you are not navigating this process alone.
If something in you feels called toward this work, the first step is simply a conversation.
Who This Work Is For
People arrive at this work through different doors.
Some come after years of devoted inner work. Therapy, meditation, breathwork, spiritual inquiry. They have built a full, capable life and gained real insight into themselves. They understand their patterns clearly.
And yet something remains, held beneath the reach of insight. It may surface as longing, restlessness, or a quiet but insistent knowing that there is more available than this.
Others arrive from a quieter but equally powerful place. A sense of curiosity. A pull toward expanded states of consciousness. A feeling that life is asking to be met more fully, more honestly, and with deeper awareness. Not because something is broken, but because something is calling. Because they have one life and they intend to meet it fully.
Both paths lead here. Both are welcome.
This work tends to resonate with people who:
𖦹 Have already done meaningful inner work and sense another layer waiting to be explored
𖦹 Feel genuine curiosity about consciousness and the deeper nature of the mind
𖦹 Are willing to approach psychedelic medicine with preparation, care, and respect
𖦹 Are ready to meet whatever arises with honesty and courage
𖦹 Value guidance and relational support rather than navigating this terrain alone
You do not need to be in crisis to enter this work. Often the call arises simply because something within you knows it is time to go deeper.
When This Work May Not Be the Right Fit
This work is powerful and requires the right conditions to unfold safely.
Journey Work may not be appropriate for those currently experiencing acute mental health crisis, active suicidality, untreated psychosis, or severe instability. Certain medical conditions and medications may also require additional consideration or make this work unsafe at this time.
Because safety and care are central to the process, a thorough intake and screening process is always part of the journey. If questions arise about readiness or timing, we explore them together with honesty and respect.
About Lindsay
I'm Lindsay Jensen-Evans, a ceremonial guide and facilitator devoted to helping people reconnect with themselves through embodied practice.
My path into this work began through my own search. After years spent exploring yoga, meditation, and personal growth, I discovered that insight alone could only take me so far. The deepest shifts came through practices that engage the body directly. Breathwork, somatic awareness, and ceremonial work opened doorways that years of thinking and self-analysis could not.
Over the past two decades I have devoted myself to the study of consciousness, embodiment, and psychedelic integration. I hold a Natural Medicine Facilitator License in Colorado and completed a two-year Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy Practitioner training through the SoundMind Institute. I remain in active mentorship within the psychedelic-assisted healing field, continuing to deepen my own practice alongside the work I hold for others.
My facilitation approach is grounded in nervous system awareness, careful preparation, and deep respect for the intelligence within each person's process. In Journey Work, my role is not to direct your experience or interpret what arises. My role is to hold a steady and supportive container so that what needs to surface can surface safely.
At its heart, this work is about remembering. Remembering who we are beneath the roles we carry, the patterns we have learned to hold, and the stories we have come to believe.
If you feel called to explore this work, I would be honored to walk beside you.
Trust. Let Go. Be Open.

This sacred container is for those ready to cross a threshold.
If you feel the call to enter this work, to meet yourself in the mystery, and to be held with care through preparation, ceremony, and integration, I invite you to take the next step.
This path asks something real of us. Presence. Courage. A willingness to release control and trust the unfolding of what emerges.
